Lawman & Co was established in 2019 by Katie Lawman and her husband, with a shared love for design, networking, and slow fashion.
What began in a small Bangalow studio has blossomed into something much larger. Now residing on their farm in the Byron Bay hinterland, the family has grown along with the L&C community.
Katie's goal is to empower fellow mums (or anyone for that matter) to feel beautiful and comfortable in their own skin and clothes.
She designed her first piece the 'Mumma' Mini in 2018.
Katie designs and sews slow, proudly using sustainable and eco-friendly materials whenever possible.
Her favourite fabrics include soft cottons, lush linens and even a blend of the two.
Lawman & Co is excited to expand their children's and women's wear range, starting from July 2025, half of our L&C pieces will be produced overseas with our trusted partners, allowing us to keep up with growing orders. We're thrilled to introduce our 'Designed by Us' collection, developed in collaboration with our female led manufacturers.
Over the past two years, Katie has dedicated herself to finding a manufacturer that shares Lawman & Co values and ethos, working diligently to sample and meet with local and international companies.
The 'Handmade by Us' is precisely what it promises—sourced, cut, and sewn with love by Katie and the small L&C team in our Byron Bay hinterland studio.
