A slow Byron Bay winter morning with Lily Jean & Margaux at the Ranch.
A Morning Made for Light
There’s a kind of stillness in a golden morning. Just that perfect stretch of sun when the world feels soft and full of light. That was the mood of our latest shoot, held on a quiet coastal ranch south of Byron Bay.
Captured beautifully by Lily Jean, and brought to life by Margaux our muse.

The Inspiration Behind the Shoot
This shoot came from a place of soft contrast, coastal calm meets cowgirl vibes!
I imagined textures kissed by sunlight, garments that breathe and flow and accessories that bring everything together.
Think: cotton gingham, dusty boots, vintage tones, and a mood that’s part ranch daydream, part slow fashion edit.
The Looks We Featured
We styled some of our favourite and best selling core pieces:
Mumma Mini Garden Dress – Choccy Brown Gingham
Mumma Mini Garden Dress – Forest Green Gingham
Mumma Maxi Dress – Choccy Brown Gingham
Styling Details
To bring the story together, we added a few key elements:
Cowboy hats by Will & Bear — tonal & organic, sun-loved
Roper boots — dusty, worn & full of soul
A woven picnic basket — found, not bought
The overall feel? Free, flowy and fun and worn with intention.
The Team
Photographer Lily Jean brought her signature softness and movement to every frame, Margaux, our model, moved through the shoot with quiet confidence and effortless energy, the perfect balance of soft and strong.
A Slow Story, Told Softly
This shoot wasn’t about staging. It was about feeling.
Slowness. Texture. Ease. The kind of morning you don’t rush through and the kind of pieces you want to wear all the way through it.
